We’re Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group based out of Austin, TX with 80+ clubs and growing! Since 2016, we have expanded from 16 locations in TX to over 80 in 6 states, including markets like Austin, Dallas, Raleigh, Tulsa, and NW Arkansas. We open new clubs each year, providing opportunities for career growth. Many of our senior managers started at the front desk and advanced to earning salaries starting at $42k as a GM, $60k as a Regional Manager (responsible for 5-10 locations), and over $100k as a Regional Director overseeing 10+ locations!

All roles begin at the front desk, where our Team Players are responsible for creating a positive member experience through excellent customer service and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide an exceptional customer service experience.
- Check members into the system.
- Take prospective members on tours and assist with new account sign-up.
- Update members’ accounts as needed.
- Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and co-workers.
- Positive mental attitude.
- Customer service background preferred.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Diplomatic behavior and appropriate language.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Demands

- Standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Talking in person or on the phone.
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Handling cleaning products during shifts.
