Overview

Grow () creates industry-leading digital experiences, platforms, and activations for iconic global brands including Google, adidas, Diageo, and more. We’re obsessed with creating work that people truly love and welcome into their digital lives — unlocking new possibilities with brilliant ideas, purposeful innovation, and exceptional digital craft. We’ve been recognized by the industry’s leading publications and award shows, including having won 14 Cannes Lions, 40 FWAs, and 36 Webby nominations.

We’ve also been recognized as Ad Age’s Small Agency of the Year Southeast and “Best Places to Work” from both Ad Age and Inc.

As our producer, you’ll lead the production and delivery of exceptional work. You  be responsible for the end-to-end production of projects, delivering work on-time, on-budget, and meeting all expectations. You  serve as the client  point of contact, effectively delivering day-to-day updates, and identifying potential organic growth opportunities.

Our ideal candidate is a proficient planner who demonstrates technical acumen, strategic focus, creative problem-solving, and an eye for both the smallest of details and the big picture. They’ve led web-based digital projects from start to finish — whether in an agency, startup, internal product team, or tech environment — and thrive in cross-functional collaboration with designers, developers, and strategists.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end production of projects with clear plans and priorities, cross-functional communication, and proactive issue resolution. Deliver work on-time, on-budget, and meeting scope requirements.
  • Serve as the client  point of contact on assigned projects and work streams, effectively communicating day-to-day updates.
  • Identify organic growth opportunities within existing client relationships. Support the development of new business proposals and pitches.
  • Drive the development of accurate project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring effective utilization and profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet client expectations and agency standards for exceptional work.
  • Suggest and implement new tools and approaches to projects.

Joining our team, you  find yourself amongst a skilled, driven group of about 25 people, with talent spanning strategy, creative, technology, production, and client engagement — all sharing the same vision to create the world  best digital experiences. Our clients know us as a committed partner who creates category-defining work. Our team knows it  possible because of the incredible culture we  built.

Requirements

We  looking for candidates with demonstrated experience leading digital or web projects from start to finish — managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional teams including design and development. This might come from an agency, in-house digital team, startup, or tech company. We care more about what you  led than how long you  done it.

Note this is not a content or video production role — we  specifically looking for someone who has led the production of websites, digital platforms, and user-facing digital experiences.

Benefits

A wealth of company benefits include health, dental, matching 401k, parental leave, paid learning and development opportunities, and more. We offer flexible paid time off and uncapped sick time. In addition, we close for 18 paid holidays, including two full weeks in which we fully close operations—one at midsummer, and one at the winter holidays.

Location

This is a full-time position at our office in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, where we’ve adopted a hybrid approach to work — with three days per week in the office and two remote, plus the option to work fully remotely for up to two months out of the year. Grow offers paid relocation to the Norfolk-Virginia Beach region as well as temporary housing for selected candidates.

Norfolk-Virginia Beach is an amazing coastal region that marries beach lifestyle with city culture. There’s thriving scenes for food, art, small businesses, and startups — while also being a wonderful place to raise a family. We’re part of a community of like-minded creators and innovators, including those in our headquarters space in Assembly (), a unique campus we helped spearhead. We also regularly put our talents toward building the city in which we want to live and work.

Equal

Opportunity Employer

Grow is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and actively works to foster a culture of belonging. We are committed to equal opportunity employment regardless of race, religion, ethnic or national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, parental status or any other legally protected characteristic.
