SUMMARY

WR has an opportunity for a Logistics Analyst IV to provide technical logistics support for material handling, storage, tracking, and accountability of complex R&D and engineering equipment within warehouse and laboratory environments.

Position responsibilities
  • Manage material order processing, including submission, tracking, and expediting of requests.
  • Monitor material requirements and track movement between purchasing, production, and warehouse operations in accordance with established priorities.
  • Support logistics activities associated with delivery of enterprise-wide support, including supply, maintenance, and facilities coordination.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts (engineers, technicians, and program staff) to ensure proper material configuration, handling, and readiness for integration or deployment.
  • Develop and maintain logistics management tools, plans, and schedules.
  • Verify materials listed on orders and monitor inventory levels to support testing schedules and program deliverables.
  • Receive and inventory government property in accordance with Bills of Materials (BOMs); assign barcodes and enter data into internal tracking systems.
  • Maintain accountability of materials throughout the production lifecycle from receipt through quality control, shipment, or final disposition in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Support physical inventory audits of government property.
  • Maintain accurate physical and electronic property records and update production status databases.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
  • Associate's degree with six (6) years of related experience OR
  • High School Diploma with eight (8) years of related experience.
  • Four (4)+ years of experience in logistics tracking, reporting, recordkeeping, warehousing, material transfer, issuance, or disposition of government and/or commercial property.
  • General knowledge of administrative procedures and analytical practices supporting technical or logistics operations.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and propose process improvements.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment utilizing PPE and operating around material handling equipment such as forklifts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Position is onsite; this is not a remote role.
