Overview
Trimitron Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Management Analyst I to support the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division
. This role provides analytical, operational, and organizational support to help the Government make informed decisions on PNT-related programs, resources, and mission priorities. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience supporting U.S. Navy programs, and the ability to evaluate data, observe operations, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Collect, review, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support Government decision-making.
- Evaluate information such as annual revenues, workforce levels, expenditures, operational metrics, and program performance indicators.
- Prepare and solve mathematical models to support cost analysis, operations research, and resource planning.
- Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within PNT-related programs and processes.
- Interview managers, technical personnel, and staff to understand workflows, challenges, and operational needs.
- Observe organizational operations to assess efficiency, resource utilization, and alignment with mission objectives.
- Develop solutions to operational and organizational problems, ensuring recommendations are practical, data-driven, and mission-aligned.
- Analyze the structure, culture, and intergovernmental relationships of the organization to ensure recommendations fit within Navy and NIWC environments.
- Provide analytical support to PNT program managers, engineers, and leadership to enhance mission performance and resource planning.
- Support assessments of PNT system requirements, operational impacts, and programmatic risks.
- Assist in preparing briefings, reports, and decision-support products for Government stakeholders.
- Ensure all analysis aligns with Navy standards, PNT mission priorities, and DoD policies.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field.
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience.
- Experience collecting, reviewing, and analyzing information to develop recommendations for Government customers.
- Ability to prepare and solve mathematical models to support analytical findings.
- Strong communication skills, including interviewing personnel and presenting findings.
- Notable experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations.
- Experience supporting NIWC, NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or other Navy technical organizations.
- Familiarity with PNT systems, Navy acquisition processes, or defense program management.
- Experience developing decision-support tools, cost models, or operational analyses.
