The Corporate Giving and Finance Coordinator plays a dual role in managing day-to-day financial operations and cultivating corporate partnerships. This position ensures accurate bookkeeping, compliance, and financial reporting while driving revenue through sponsor ships and donor engagement. Key Responsibilities- Record and reconcile financial transactions (AP, AR, payroll).
- Maintain general ledger and ensure proper coding of income/expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budget development.
- Monitor cash flow and support annual compliance processes.
- Develop and implement corporate giving strategies with leadership.
- Identify, cultivate, and solicit corporate sponsors and partners.
- Create customized sponsorship proposals and benefit packages.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure timely donor recognition.
- Plan and execute fundraising events (galas, receptions, donor activities).
- Manage event logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Oversee guest experience and collaborate with marketing for promotions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent work experience is welcome. Strong skills in bookkeeping and financial management are highly valued.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, coupled with expertise in corporate partnership development and event planning.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and adaptability to Customer Relationship Management software.
- Familiarity with nonprofit operations and fundraising principles preferred.
- Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative.
- Availability to attend functions outside of normal operating hours.
Salary Range: $39,520 – $44,720 annually
