Office Manager for the Office of Alumni Relations with primary responsibility to the Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations. The role includes providing primary clerical and fiscal support for the Alumni Relations staff, answering inquiries from the public concerning university programs and services, and providing administrative support to the Alumni Relations staff and the Association's Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
This position performs routine technical and administrative support duties in the preparation, maintenance, and processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial records.
- Provide clerical and fiscal support to the Alumni Relations staff.
- Answer public inquiries regarding university programs and services.
- Support the Association's Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
- Prepare, maintain, and process accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain financial records and assist with budget tracking.
- Working knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and budgeting management.
- Strong working knowledge of PC‑based software such as Microsoft Office Suite for correspondence, data manipulation, and report generation.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to complete assignments timely while multi‑tasking.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally in a team environment and meet deadlines on shared office tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to work with budgets and maintain records.
Considerable experience providing progressively responsible administrative, clerical, and fiscal support. Some experience in administrative operations and fiscal management is preferred.
Conditions of EmploymentStandard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office.
CompensationSalary range: $45,000 – $50,000 per year.
