Position OverviewTrimitron Corp is seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant I to provide entry-level administrative and documentation support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific’s Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division. This role supports mission‑critical operations by ensuring accurate documentation, organized workflows, and professional communication across PNT teams. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and capable of producing polished, compliant documentation in a fast‑paced, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Review, edit, format, and synthesize various types of input—including verbal notes, emails, drafts, and technical content—into cohesive, professional documents.
- Ensure all correspondence complies with the Navy Correspondence Manual, Official Navy Message Traffic, and other DoD/Federal formatting policies.
- Prepare and refine documents for senior stakeholders, including Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Customer Technical Representatives (COTRs).
- Manage, update, and distribute departmental documents such as organizational announcements, distribution lists, internal/external media lists, and data access forms.
- Maintain organized filing systems, track deadlines, and support routine administrative workflows.
- Provide administrative support to PNT engineers, analysts, and program staff to ensure smooth coordination of mission activities.
- Assist with preparing PNT‑related documentation, meeting materials, and communication products.
- Support the routing, formatting, and quality review of PNT program correspondence and technical artifacts.
- Maintain awareness of PNT program requirements to ensure administrative tasks align with mission priorities.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
- Ability to independently edit, format, and synthesize information into clear, accurate, and compliant documents.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience working in a military or DoD environment, including familiarity with point papers, policies, and official messages.
- Experience tracking supply orders, equipment inventories, cost accounting data, or personnel training records.
- Familiarity with Navy administrative processes or technical documentation standards.
- Strong interest in supporting technical, mission‑driven programs.
