QC Administrative Assistant / Submittal Clerk

Norfolk, VA | Full-Time | Onsite | Federal Construction Project
Butterfly Staffing is supporting a federal construction contractor in identifying a reliable QC Administrative Assistant/Submittal Clerk to join an upcoming project in Norfolk, VA. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting the Quality Control Manager by handling project documentation, submittals, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the QC Manager in organizing, processing, and maintaining submittal files
- Prepare and publish reports, spreadsheets, and meeting minutes
- Maintain well-organized documentation for quality assurance tracking
- Ensure timely filing of submittals and project documents per contract requirements
- Support general administrative tasks that do not interfere with core duties
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction admin or document control
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
- Familiarity with construction submittals and QC documentation preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field office environment
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- DBIDS credential or ability to obtain base access
