1:00pm – 10:00pm

Main Responsibility

To oversee, lead, and manage the late shift warehouse team in assembling, picking, packing, and loading goods onto delivery vans. This is a hands-on role, working alongside the team while maintaining overall responsibility for shift performance, accuracy, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Assembly

* Pick, pack, and prepare furniture and furnishings for delivery.

* Safely load and secure furniture onto 3.5-ton delivery box vans.

* Ensure all goods are properly protected to prevent damage in transit.

* Maintain cleanliness inside delivery vans, ready for the next load.

Shift Management

* Conduct daily handovers from the morning shift and resolve any outstanding issues before dispatch.

* Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance.

* Take responsibility for team behaviour and overall shift productivity.

Accuracy & Quality Control

* Ensure 100% dispatch accuracy with no picking errors.

* Inspect products for damage and confirm packaging is secure and suitable.

* Resolve any inaccuracies before goods leave the warehouse.

Housekeeping & Standards

* Ensure all aisles and picking areas are clean and tidy at the end of each shift.

* Maintain high warehouse standards across the team.

Health & Safety

* Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and procedures are followed at all times.

Additional Responsibilities

* Support the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of warehouse operations.

* Help maintain performance, discipline, and standards across warehouse personnel.

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience managing or supervising a small team.

* Physically capable of handling large and heavy furniture items.

* Strong organisational and leadership skills.

* High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
