Job Overview
GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the world's leading parcel delivery networks.
Shift Details- Afternoon shifts on an ad‑hoc basis: 1300‑2030 starts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available
- Average 12‑hour shift
- Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
- Saturday: £25.94 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
- Sunday: £28.95 per hour (PAYE, includes advanced holiday pay)
- Conduct vehicle checks
- Trunking work to depots
- Deliver safely to customers throughout the UK
- Prioritise workload to meet time commitments
- A presentable appearance, eye for detail and a positive attitude
- No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsement codes
- Valid, in‑date tachograph & CPC
- Good customer service skills
- At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 driver
