Senior Social Worker needed for our Children's Services Team in Norwich, Norfolk, paying £40.50 ph!

Norfolk is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Social Worker to join our Children’s Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about safeguarding and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and families.

We are looking for a fully experienced Social Worker who is confident managing complex cases and thrives in a fast-paced statutory environment.

• Managing a varied caseload including Child Protection, Child in Need, and Looked After Children cases
• Undertaking comprehensive assessments and developing robust care plans
• Completing high-quality reports for court proceedings
• Representing the Local Authority in court
• Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners
• Providing mentoring and guidance to less experienced colleagues where appropriate
• Ensuring all practice is compliant with statutory legislation and safeguarding procedures

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
• Significant post-qualification experience within Children’s Services
• In-depth experience in:

• Strong analytical, assessment, and risk management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
