Position: Quality and HSE Manager (Permanent)
Location: Broadland

We are partnering with a high-end technology manufacturer as they seek to appoint this pivotal leadership role within their operations. As Quality & HSE Manager, you will take ownership of the Quality Assurance and Health, Safety & Environmental function, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and safeguarding excellence across all programmes.

This is a strategic yet hands-on position, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain certifications, embed a proactive quality and safety culture, and deliver exceptional standards across complex, high-precision technology solutions. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated QA team and act as the primary liaison for audits, regulatory bodies, and customer quality representatives.

Core

Responsibilities Include:

Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
Oversee internal and external audits, non-conformance management, and corrective/preventive actions.
Champion quality best practices across design, manufacturing, and supply chain, including new product introduction.
Drive compliance and readiness for customer and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement HSE policies, achieving ISOand ISOcertifications.
Promote a proactive safety culture through training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Monitor and report quality and HSE performance metrics, providing strategic insights to senior leadership.
Lead, coach, and develop the QA team, fostering accountability and excellence.

About You:

Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing.
Certified Lead Auditor (ISOessential; NEBOSH or IOSH highly desirable.
Strong background in quality leadership within high-end technology or advanced manufacturing environments.
Proven ability to manage audits, accreditation processes, and customer quality engagements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
