Process Development Lead

I'm partnered with a Food Manufacturers in East Anglia, to recruit a Process Development Lead for a 12mth FTC (mat cover). This is a key, site-based role, reporting to the Technical Manager, with full responsibility for process development and continuous improvement activities.

This opportunity would suit an experienced process engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys delivering tangible operational improvements.

The Role

* Lead and develop the site’s process development function

* Act as technical expert for core manufacturing and milling processes

* Support NPD with factory and pilot plant trials through to full-scale launch

* Lead capital investment projects including automation and site upgrades

* Develop project scopes, budgets and timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery

* Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

* Degree qualified in Engineering, Business or related field

* Proven experience in process engineering within FMCG manufacturing

* Strong project management and capital investment experience

* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma

* Confident leading cross-functional teams
