About the role

We are looking for a KS1 Teacher at Diocese of Norwich St Benet’s Multi Academy Trust, specifically at Harleston Sancroft Academy. The successful candidate will bring fun and creativity to Key Stage 1 children, igniting curiosity and building positive relationships.

Salary and contract
  • Base pay: £13,166 – £18,140 for full‑time equivalent (£32,916 – £45,352)
  • Fixed‑term contract until 31 August 2026
  • Part‑time: 0.4 FTE (20 hours per week)
  • Start date:

    23 February 2026
Key responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality teaching for KS1 pupils.
  • Plan, design and deliver engaging curriculum.
  • Provide year‑on‑year improvement through measurable objectives.
  • Maintain the school’s Christian ethos and support the overall vision.
Required skills and experience
  • Clear understanding of excellent KS1 curriculum design and teaching.
  • Strong analytical skills for balanced decision‑making.
  • Experience with effective partnerships with pupils, parents, staff and community.
  • Creative approaches to encourage learning and sharing best practice.
  • Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision and Christian ethos.
