Location: Norfolk, NE
Hiring Rate: $36.566/hour (Breakdown: $36.566-$48.797/hour plus $3 for each hour worked). Additional shift differential of $1.50-$2.50/hour
Schedule: Part‑time opportunity: 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Two 12‑hour shifts each week, with 3rd weekend rotation)

Provide professional nursing care for ill, injured, or disabled persons, provide clinical direction and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses and direct care staff, provide direct patient nursing care and treatments within the scope of licensure. Direct, coordinate, monitor, and/or provide patient care activities and the delivery of nursing care by licensed professional nursing and direct care staff. Train nursing or direct care staff in appropriate nursing care standards and techniques to maintain standards of quality mean patient care.
Administer medications and/or treatments or supervise the administration of medications by licensed or certified staff members. Evaluate and report patient symptoms, progress, and reactions to medications. Ensure patient records are kept current, transcribe physician's orders and record medications. May serve as a Nurse Supervisor in their absence.
- Minimum Qualifications: A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a registered nurse in Nebraska.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in primary and gerontological nursing and experience in dementia care.
- Knowledge of: nursing theory and practice; accepted standards of care; policies and procedures governing nursing care; sanitation and infection control standards, policies and procedures and techniques of providing quality nursing care.
- Ability to: communicate effectively with medical professionals, direct care staff members, and other facility staff members; participate on an interdisciplinary team; utilize sound and effective professional nursing judgment.
- Physical Requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, push/pull up to 50 lbs., bend, twist, walk or stand up to 50%êle of shift.
