Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will play an essential role in ensuring the reliable operation, safety, and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities.
This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems used throughout our manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will also support facility upkeep, assist with special projects, and partner closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maintain optimal workflow. Success in this position requires strong technical skills, sound judgment, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment and facility systems
- Manage maintenance projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, while adhering to budget and timeline constraints
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts
- Collaborate with production staff to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and minimize disruptions to manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with engineering staff as needed on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical inquiries
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform routine inspections and upkeep of the building and facilities, including plumbing, HVAC, and landscaping tasks
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and provide timely solutions
- Assist with other projects as required or needed, including facility upgrades, equipment installations, or special assignments as directed by management
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in English language (read, write, speak, and communicate in business setting)

- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to operate forklifts, electric scissor lift, and similar equipment

- Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day.
- Physical stamina with ability to lift 75 lbs. and carry materials and equipment as needed.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves, and respirator as needed.)
- Regularly stand, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, and a variety of physical activities.
- Able to climb ladders, comfortable working on elevated platforms for extended periods.
- Able to work overhead
- Able to work in various environmental conditions, including manufacturing environment.
- Hours worked will closely follow production hours with occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.
