We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in their industry, with a Supply Chain Manager search located in Norfolk, NE. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing manufacturing materials operations and strategy to ensure the achievement of plant goals. This manager will be responsible for the master scheduling, inventory management, and logistics operations.
Responsibilities:- Manage aspects of material management to include: scheduling, inventory control management, warehousing, and logistics
- Forecast material needs while maximizing the utilization of current inventory
- Plan and implement lean improvements to maximize materials planning and distribution
- Ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements
- Determine best course of actions to improve distribution efficiency
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
- 5+ years of industrial materials management
- Must have proven experience leading a materials/supply chain department or program with direct reports
