The AV Technical Support Analyst is a Tier II escalation point for technology-related incidents and service requests. This role is primarily responsible for supporting AV and learning technical hardware and software, which includes setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various systems. The Analyst will provide support for all staff and students at Northeast, working with a wide range of technologies such as large displays, projectors, Crestron and Extron room systems, Teams and Zoom rooms, and other learning and AV equipment.
Lifting and transporting heavy AV hardware, including large displays, may be required addition to core support duties, the Analyst is also responsible for implementing and managing learning, meeting, and event space technologies, including the design, deployment, and support of infrastructure service components. The Analyst develops training material, conducts user training, researches emerging products and standards, and participates in hardware and software acquisition as needed.
Responsibilities also encompass auditing, reporting, and supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
This position will also support Service Center functions as needed and train/mentor Service Center staff to support and learning/AV technologies.
This position will be providing support to all Northeast locations and includes travel to the extended campuses.
