Location: Norfolk, NE
Position Overview:
We're hiring a Facility Controller to serve as the financial lead for a manufacturing plant in Norfolk, NE. This role partners closely with the Plant Manager and works remotely with Corporate Finance, owning the plant P&L, financial reporting, and cost analysis for site operations. You'll be the sole finance presence onsite, making this a highly visible and impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full P&L for the Norfolk facility
- Partner with the Plant Manager on budgets, forecasts, and financial decision-making
- Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and yield performance
- Track capital spending and monitor budget vs. actuals
- Oversee inventory, MRO, and production-related financial controls
- Support monthly business reviews with clear, data-driven insights
- Serve as the onsite finance point of contact while collaborating with corporate finance remotely
- Manage office/administrative staff at the facility
- Manufacturing finance experience with direct P&L ownership
- Strong ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
- Comfortable being onsite 5 days per week
- Experience working independently as the primary finance lead at a site
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate numbers into operational insight
- Food, dairy, or process manufacturing background (Preferred)
- Experience supporting plant leadership and CI / cost improvement initiatives (Preferred)
