Software Engineer, C# / Unity Developer
The Biller Solutions Division within Client offers hosted technology solutions for consumer billing and payment to companies of all sizes and industries. Our solutions equip companies with the ability to offer their consumer base electronic paperless billing (e-bills) and electronic payments (one-time, card funded, recurring, registered, ACH funded, etc.) in channels including the company’s website, bank or financial institution websites, via the phone or through walk-in locations.
Our clients are varied and include small local water companies, medium sized regional electric utilities and large national auto lenders, credit card issuers and Telco/wireless providers.
Client is looking for a Software Developer to help us build modern billing and payment applications with the latest technologies. You will work in an open, agile environment where we value team collaboration and constant improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Perform somewhat complex product design, system analysis, and programming activities which may require some research.
- Assist with design, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower level issues of multiple products.
- Prepare technical documentation of product sub-systems.
- Conduct the unit & integration testing for functionality and limits.
- Perform somewhat complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
- Research problems discovered by QA/Test or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
- Research and understand the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
- General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation.
- General analytical and design skills at single product/single environment level.
- General skills in research, project planning and implementation.
- General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
- General awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
- Solid written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated skills in the following relevant technologies:
- .NET - and C#
- SDLC – Agile (Must have)
- General server administration on Windows Server
- Experience with dependency injection
- NUnit or other automated unit test development tool
- Experience with internet and computer based solutions for financial institutions is a plus
