Hydraulic Hose Field Technician

Compensation: $70K–$100K with a $3,000 starting bonus.

Position: On-site hose repair technician

Location: Lawrenceville and surrounding areas

This position requires someone mechanically inclined with heavy equipment experience. We are looking for technicians who are upbeat with a positive attitude and self-motivators who enjoy meeting customers and leaving them satisfied with the service. If you take pride in your work, we want you on our team.

• $70K–$100K
• Signing bonus: $3,000

• Removal, identification, fabrication, and installation of hydraulic and similar hoses
• Cranking and testing equipment
• Provide after-hours on-call assistance (4–6 days a week; every 5th to 6th week rotation)
• Evaluate equipment condition and identify potential hose failures
• Check and fill hydraulic oil where required
• Deliver hoses and other products
• Maintain clean, well-running work truck, inventory, and tools
• Communicate cause and correction to customers
• Provide copy of on-site service order to customer
• Collect payments as required and assist in past-due collections
• Maintain current accounts with regular visits and correspondence
• Generate new business through sales calls and provide records
• Keep a daily log and DOT checklist
• Assist in training new employees

• Medium level mechanical skills
• Familiarity with tools
• Experience involving people relations
• Drug screen
• Clean driving record
• DOT physical
• Criminal background check
• 12th grade education or equivalent

• Operate a medium duty commercial truck
• Work outdoors under varying conditions (hot, cold, rain, dirt, mud, noise, smells, heights, etc.)
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
• Work with tools in confined spaces and around heavy equipment
• Be flexible to use tools efficiently
• Maintain a safe, steady work pace
