Job Description: The Sprinkler Helper will work with and learn from the Sprinkler Fitter on the installation, maintenance, and service of fire suppression systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, be customer and safety focused, and work diligently as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Assist the Sprinkler Fitter on install and service jobs, traveling to job sites as required.
- Interact with customers on a daily basis.
- Follow safety rules and requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
- 0‑1 year of experience.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and computer skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and no DUI convictions.
- Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, working on scaffolding or high lift equipment up to 60 feet, and operating within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
