Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Norcross, GA, for a Ditchman at GS Construction Inc. The Ditchman will be responsible for assisting in excavation, trenching, and the installation of pipelines and other utility systems.
Responsibilities- Assisting in excavation, trenching, and installation of pipelines and other utility systems
- Operating tools and equipment
- Ensuring job site safety
- Supporting team members in meeting project deadlines
- Adhering to safety standards and effective communication with team members
- Experience in excavation, trenching, and utility installations
- Familiarity with safety protocols and construction site procedures
- Ability to operate tools and machinery used in utility and pipeline construction
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and physical endurance
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable transportation and punctuality to maintain project deadlines
- Experience in large-scale municipal projects is a plus
- Valid Driver's license
