OVERVIEW
The Installer, Garage Doors is responsible for the professional installation, service, and repair of residential and/or commercial garage doors, openers, and related hardware. This role requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions- Install residential and/or commercial garage doors and openers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company standards
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and hardware to job sites
- Inspect job site conditions and verify measurements prior to installation
- Use hand and power tools to assemble and install door sections, track, springs, cables, and other components
- Ensure proper functionality, alignment, and safety of installed systems
- Communicate effectively with customers on-site regarding the scope of work, timelines, and proper door operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Complete job documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand/power tools
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and reliability
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or garage door installation a plus
- Willingness to work in indoor and outdoor environments and various weather conditions

The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full‑time position that requires overtime as business needs dictate.
