Actively Screening for MTS Scientist to join client in Norcross, GA!

Job Description

The MTS Scientist provides crucial technical support to manufacturing by conducting laboratory testing and participating in investigations and qualification projects. You will play a vital role in performing high-volume automated testing to ensure that raw materials and samples meet stringent requirements.

Responsibilities

+ With guidance, execute, and complete an investigation /project / process development to a logical conclusion.

+ Gain an understanding of the products and science behind the techniques being used.

+ Gain an understanding of where to find relevant information (i.e.,SOP's, cross functional groups, required documents to full fill job responsibilities.

+ Understanding of statistics and use of statistical software (eg Mini Tab, JMP, Excel)

+ Compile and analyze data for sr. scientist to analyze

+ With some oversight, able to complete required notebooks, reports, forms, etc. with minimal errors suitable for audits.

+ Able to maintain data, test samples, etc. in a well-organized easy to locate fashion during all aspects of the studies/investigations

+ Possess basic technical writing skills and is able to communicate effectively with other team members.

Required Skills

+ Clinical laboratory testing experience.

+ 6+months experience with automated laboratory equipment.

+ 6+ months of experience in a clinical/academic lab setting.

+ Previous experience testing blood samples.

+ Experience utilizing automated laboratory equipment

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a clinical science field is preferred but not required.

+

Experience with specific automated equipment such as Iris, NEO, ECHO is preferred.

+

Experience with blood or plasma samples is beneficial.

Work Environment

This role involves working from Monday to Friday, with shifts from 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm and 1pm-9pm. Initial training will be provided from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, for two weeks. The work environment is centered around clinical laboratory settings, utilizing advanced automated laboratory systems and equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Norcross, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
