Parts Specialist

Summary

The Parts Specialist is responsible for the overall picking and packaging of all be Matrix small parts. This position requires knowledge and expertise of all items, parts, and accessories as well as knowledge in basic packaging and logistics. Strict adherence to all company policies, procedures and processes is a must. This person has final accountability for the quantity and quality of all packaging of small parts and products that ship from facility.

Will also be responsible for and accountable for all inventory involving parts.

• Pull, pack & package small parts for shipment to customer or for integration into larger jobs.
• Assist inventory supervisor with correct inventory and location of all small parts.
• Responsible for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and biannual inventory counts of said product.
• Inform procurement supervisor of low or depleted inventory.
• Responsible for packaging and shipping customer sample kits.
• Responsibility for small orders and same day order processing.
• Responsible for quality control of be Matrix parts.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and enforce the same.
• Provide accurate information and reports as needed to Procurement.
• Check and record completed projects for quality expectations met or exceeded.
• 2-3 years of Parts Specialist experience
• Experience using Business Central and Shop Floor is a plus.
• Highly organized, able to manage priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Able to work with all levels of staff.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to conduct self-according to be Matrix’s operating values, which include operating with honesty and integrity, and in a spirit of teamwork and respect.
• Monday to Friday:
  Hours 7:00am-4:00pm with OT as needed.
