Covenant Youth Empowerment is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) mental health therapist/counselor. The Mental Health Therapist will meet with clients—children, adolescents, and adults—either in person (at clients' homes) or via telehealth to provide individual and family counseling. Telehealth options are available to increase access to services.

• Provides counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to consumers and families; prepares treatment plans, discharge summaries, monthly summaries, BIRP notes, and, if needed, crisis intervention and emergency services.
• Provides and/or arranges therapeutic interventions for consumers in crisis and for those with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED).
• Schedules weekly sessions and submits appropriate documentation.
• Documents services provided in BIRP format using the Share Note system.
• Adheres to a 48‑hour documentation turnaround time.

• Licensed in the state of Georgia (for licensed professionals) or eligible to obtain a Georgia license.
• Experience in core mental health services in Georgia, with knowledge of current therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to follow stated treatment goals, objectives, and interventions; create and update treatment plans for the person served.
• Proficiency in BIRP note writing style with quality and timeliness of submissions.
• Capability to provide therapy to youths and adults.
• Ability to find community linkages and connect clients with needed community services.
• Possesses or qualifies to obtain CPI certification.
• Possesses or qualifies to obtain CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
• Must provide three references.
• Dependable transportation to travel to downtown and Greater Atlanta area.
• Experience working with clients who suffer from substance abuse and mental health problems is a plus.
• Ability to work with high‑risk individuals when needed.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of therapy application and mental health field.
