Project Manager; Services

The Project Manager, Services acts as the local technical lead responsible for managing and executing service-related projects focused on equipment improvements, upgrades, and packaging line conversions. This includes modifications tied to primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems.

The role ensures successful project delivery from pre-contract phase through commissioning and validation, with full accountability for quality, budget, and timeline performance.

• Translate customer needs into technical project plans and oversee full project execution.
• Assess technical feasibility and risks, coordinating with supply chain and engineering teams as required.
• Act as the project integrator, ensuring alignment across equipment upgrades and broader packaging line scope.
• Identify and propose additional service solutions to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure technical and commercial feasibility prior to project commitment.
• Maintain responsibility for Quality, Cost (budget), and Delivery (timeline) from pre-contract through commissioning.
• Manage project risks, escalations, and crisis situations in collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Support sales activities including proposals and technical presentations.
• Provide accurate project reporting and status updates.
• Coordinate on-site technical teams and contractors.
• Oversee Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security (HSE&S) compliance during project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or packaging environments.
• Strong technical background with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and maintenance documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of risk management principles and financial fundamentals for project oversight.
• Experience managing technical personnel and site activities.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Fluent in English; additional languages such as French or Spanish are an asset.
• Willingness to travel within the Americas region as required.
