ICC Master Special Inspector

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking an ICC certified Master Special Inspector for our Norcross or Kennesaw, GA office. We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests on masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and related materials. Some travel is required, and the position will be predominantly field located.

• Perform inspections in accordance with code and project requirements.
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
• Conduct field testing and inspections.
• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly.
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Input results and observations into daily reports.

• 3+ years of construction materials testing and special inspection experience.
• ICC Certifications required in Soils, Structural Masonry, Reinforced Concrete, Welding, Steel, and Bolting.
• ICC Master of Special Inspections is highly preferred.
• Proof of a clean driving record.
