- Design and implement MES solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's technology strategy.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and develop MES solutions that meet these needs.
- Lead the development of MES architecture and ensure its alignment with the overall IT architecture.
- Develop and implement MES standards, best practices, and guidelines.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the MES system, and provide technical support as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure the successful execution of MES projects.
- Conduct training sessions to educate staff on the use of the MES system.
- Stay current with the latest technology trends and innovations in the field of MES and recommend improvements to the system as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with SCADA, Ignition 8.1 Gold Certification, Python programming, and manufacturing domain.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, back‑end computing infrastructure, networking, databases, and virtualization.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Ability to stay current with the latest technology trends and innovations in the field of MES.
