Database Engineer

*** HYBRID POSITION IN NORCO, CA***

Job Summary The Database Engineer leads enterprise-level development and optimization of secure database systems. This position architects complex SQL solutions, enforces development standards, and ensures performance and security compliance for mission-critical systems.

As with any position, additional expectations exist. • Lead schema and stored procedure architecture across systems
• Optimize high-volume queries and support large data migrations
• Implement data governance and secure development practices
• Guide development teams on best practices and reviews
• Coordinate with cybersecurity and IT for database security

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of database development experience
• Advanced knowledge of SQL performance tuning and secure design
• Ability to travel to Norco, CA location 2-3 days per week
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active DoD Secret Clearance

• Master’s degree or advanced database certifications
• Experience with cloud-native database environments (e.g., RDS, Azure SQL)
