JOB SUMMARYThe Equipment Fueler is responsible for fueling light, heavy, mobile, and stationary equipment and machinery in accordance with flammable and combustible fluid transfer policies and requirements. This position operates tankers, pumps, and valves to refuel equipment and performs other maintenance activities as required. This position requires extensive outside job duties in arctic environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Perform refueling operations on light, heavy, mobile, and stationary equipment and machinery.
- Operate tankers, pumps, and valves to refuel equipment.
- Perform fluid level checks and record fuel activity as required.
- Monitor the availability and delivery of fuel products.
- Operate light and heavy‑duty equipment on ice roads.
- Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid (U.S issued, Alaska compliant) Class A CDL with both Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required.
- A current DOT Medical Card is required.
- A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
- The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 2x2 or 3x3 rotation is required.
- At least three (3) years of experience working as an Equipment Fueler is required.
- Four (4) or more years of experience working as an Equipment Fueler in a Construction or Industrial setting, the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
