Jewellery Sales Consultant
About The Opportunity
A leader in the luxury retail jewellery sector operating across India, focused on fine gold, diamond and gemstone collections for bridal and premium customers. We deliver high-touch in-store experiences that combine craftsmanship, certification and modern retail practices. This on-site role is ideal for sales professionals who excel at consultative selling and clienteling in a premium retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Deliver personalised, consultative sales experiences—qualify customer needs, present appropriate jewellery options, and close transactions to meet store targets.
Maintain expert product knowledge across metals, diamonds, gemstones and hallmarking to educate customers and validate certifications.
Operate POS and CRM systems to process sales, manage customer records, record warranties and follow up for repeat business.
Drive sales through upselling, cross-selling and clienteling—build and sustain a pipeline of repeat and referral customers.
Uphold merchandising, stock rotation and store presentation standards; ensure pricing accuracy and inventory reconciliation.
Adhere to store security, KYC and BIS hallmarking compliance; support post-sale services including repairs and aftercare coordination.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
Proven retail jewellery sales experience with a demonstrable track record of meeting targets.
Strong product knowledge: precious metals, diamonds, gemstones and hallmarking procedures.
Proficiency using Point of Sale (POS) systems and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Ability to execute visual merchandising and maintain premium in-store presentation standards.
Familiarity with KYC processes, BIS hallmarking regulations and basic jewellery valuation practices.
Comfortable working retail shifts including weekends and public holidays; right to work in India.
Preferred
Gemology certification (GIA or equivalent) or formal training in diamonds/gemstones.
Experience in luxury or bridal jewellery segments and handling high-value transactions.
Fluency in English plus one or more regional Indian languages to support diverse clientele.
