Position: Category Management (Sourcing)
Position Title:

Category Management (Sourcing)

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Price Management

Lead price negotiations with brand partners to secure competitive margins.
Ensure Month-on-Month (MOM) brand-wise KRO achievement and identify growth opportunities.
Conduct MOM margin comparison (GT Margin vs SD Margin) to maintain partner profitability and alignment with company goals.

Inventory Planning & Forecasting

Manage store-level forecasting and SKU-wise planning to ensure optimal stock levels.
Coordinate with brands to ensure NPL (New Product Launch) availability across all SD

Stores prior to launch.

Branding & Merchandising

Ensure branding visibility at stores as per brand guidelines.
Verify demo/dummy unit placement in eligible outlets.
Monitor promoter or shop boy deployment in designated stores.
Plan and execute marketing activities during festivals, events, and key brand campaigns.
Circulate brand policies and updates internally for smooth coordination.

Job Description

Sales Target & Partner Management

Define and monitor monthly sales targets for partners.
Design and implement target-linked incentive or payout programs to drive sales motivation.

Catalogue & Content Management

Update and maintain the product catalogue on the app with accurate product details, pricing, schemes, and brand information in a timely manner.

MIS & Reporting

Generate and analyze reports on aging stock, brand/SKU sales contribution, billing performance, fill rate, and app order management.
Share actionable insights to support decision-making and drive business efficiency.

Qualifications

Education:

Any Graduate

Work Experience

5+ years of experience in Buying or Category Management preferably in mobile or consumer electronics industry

Skills & Attributes

Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Excellent brand coordination and communication ability
Proficiency in Excel, MIS, and data reporting tools
Understanding of retail operations and category management
Ability to manage multiple brands and partners simultaneously
