Senior Consumer / User Research (Quantitative & Qualitative)
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Consumer / User Research professional to strengthen our local research capabilities and drive user-centric insights across digital and mobile experiences.
This role will focus on translating business and technical requirements into structured research strategies, leading end-to-end research projects, and enabling product teams with actionable insights that improve user experience and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Research Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute comprehensive user research strategies aligned with product and business goals
Design research plans with clear objectives, scope, and timelines
Conduct and manage qualitative and quantitative research including:
Field visits and ethnographic studies
User interviews and focus group discussions
Surveys, desk research, and data analysis
Ensure high research quality across all stages of the product lifecycle
User Insight & Experience Measurement
Lead research initiatives such as:
User segmentation and persona development
Target user deep-dive studies
Product and software experience exploration
Concept testing, usability testing, and experience validation
User satisfaction, experience measurement, and feedback studies
Synthesize research findings into clear insights and recommendations
Stakeholder Communication & Influence
Present research findings through well-structured reports and presentations
Communicate insights effectively to cross-functional stakeholders including product, design, and business teams
Advocate for user-centric decision-making and support implementation of research outcomes
Team Contribution & Capability Building
Support and collaborate with local research teams on ongoing projects
Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting new research methodologies and tools
Actively upskill in emerging research techniques and technologies to add value to the organization
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in user or consumer research using both qualitative and quantitative methods
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, Anthropology, Marketing, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Management , or related fields
Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Familiarity with a wide range of research methodologies, including:
In-depth interviews and field research
Focus group moderation
Survey design and quantitative analysis
Proven ability to drive research outcomes that influence product or business decisions
Experience managing multiple research projects in fast-paced environments
Strong ownership mindset, collaboration skills, and positive attitude
Preferred skills/ qualification
Exposure to multicultural or international work environments
Experience in digital, technology, or consumer-focused industries
Prior experience supporting or leading small research teams
Knowledge of additional languages beyond English
Strong academic or industry collaboration exposure (e.g., universities, research bodies, innovation ecosystems)
Portfolio showcasing 1–2 research projects demonstrating problem definition, methodology, insights, and impact
