Product Development Officer / Product Develop men t Executive (PDO/PDE)

Role overview The PDO/PDE will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring field and nursery trials for Trishul Biotech products across assigned territories, with coordination from the Greater Noida headquarters. The role includes trial design, data collection and analysis, farmer and channel partner engagement, and strong collaboration with the R&D and sales teams to support product positioning and commercialization.
Key responsibilities Design, implement, and monitor product trials in pots, nurseries, and farmer fields for biofertilizers, biostimulants, and biopesticides.
Lead and manage nursery and field operations across multiple locations in the assigned region (North India or other zones as allocated).
Collect, document, and analyze morphological, physiological, and yield data using standard experimental designs and data management tools.
Coordinate with farmers, dealers, and field staff to establish demonstration plots and conduct product performance trials.
Prepare technical trial reports, presentations, and summaries for internal review and product registration/commercial decisions.
Support regional sales and marketing teams with technical training, field days, and farmer meetings.
Monitor competitor products, field performance, and market trends, and provide structured feedback to the Product Development and Marketing teams.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during all field and nursery operations.
Maintain proper documentation, photo records, and databases for all allocated trials and demonstration activities.
Qualifications and experience M.Sc. in Agriculture / Agronomy / Horticulture / Plant Pathology / Soil Science or related discipline from a recognized university.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in agricultural product development, field trials, or technical agronomy; experience with biostimulants/biofertilizers/biopesticides is preferred.
Proven exposure to nursery management, multi-location trials, and farmer engagement.
Strong analytical, data interpretation, and report-writing skills with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic statistical tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work independently across multiple geographies.
Travel and reporting Willingness to travel 60–70% of the time within assigned states/regions, including extended stays at field locations during peak trial periods.
Valid driving licence and readiness to travel independently as per project needs.

Head – Product Development / Product Development Manager based at Greater Noida.
