Position: Plant Head (Manufacturing/Maintenance) - Polymers, Masterbatches
Key Responsibilities    Operations & Administration
Oversee end-to-end plant operations, including production, maintenance, logistics, and administrative functions.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational cost.
Coordinate with government bodies for compliance with ISO norms, pollution control standards, labour laws, and factory act requirements.
Maintenance Management
Lead preventive and breakdown maintenance for all production machinery and utilities such as DG sets, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and transformers.
Manage spare parts procurement, vendor coordination, and annual maintenance contracts.
Ensure smooth and uninterrupted plant operations with minimal downtime.
Fire & Safety
Ensure strict adherence to fire and industrial safety guidelines.
Maintain all fire-fighting equipment and conduct periodic safety audits and drills.
Oversee plant security, CCTV monitoring, and asset movement control.
Labour & People Management
Manage performance of workers, supervisors, and maintenance teams.
Oversee workforce discipline, morale, training, and development.
Foster a positive, safe, and compliant working atmosphere.
Compliance & Legal
Ensure all statutory, environmental, and labour-related compliances are fully met.
Maintain updated factory licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for senior management.
Track and analyse critical KPIs such as production efficiency, downtime, manpower utilization, and safety performance.
