Plant Production Manager

Role Overview  Curio Crafts is seeking a visionary  Plant Manager (Head)  to lead our integrated manufacturing facility in Noida. You will be the architect of our production floor, overseeing the entire lifecycle of luxury brass decor—from raw metal casting to high-end electroplating and finishing. The ideal candidate isn't just a manager; they are a  process expert  who can blend traditional Indian craftsmanship with modern industrial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities  1. Casting & Technical Excellence   Directly oversee the  brass casting process , ensuring precision in mold preparation, melting temperatures, and pouring techniques to minimize defects like porosity or shrinkage.
Optimize the output of high-end home accents, including candle stands, vases, and furniture components.
2. Operational Leadership   Drive the  Production Plan  to meet tight export deadlines without compromising on the 'hand-crafted' quality Curio Crafts is known for.
Implement  Lean Manufacturing  principles to reduce metal wastage and streamline the workflow between the foundry, fabrication, and finishing departments.
3. Quality & Finishing Oversight   Maintain world-class standards for surface finishing, including  powder coating, electroplating, and lacquering .
Ensure every piece leaving the plant reflects the premium aesthetic of the Curio brand.
4. Team & Safety Management   Lead and mentor a diverse workforce of 100+ artisans, technicians, and floor staff.
Enforce strict  health and safety (EHS) protocols , especially regarding furnace operations and chemical handling in plating areas.
5. Strategic Planning   Manage plant budgets, P&L responsibilities, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with the design team to assess the 'manufacturability' of new luxury decor concepts.
Candidate Requirements

Experience:

12–18 years in manufacturing, with at least  5–7 years specifically in Metal Casting/Handicrafts  (Brass preferred).
Technical Skill:  Deep knowledge of foundry operations, metallurgy (specifically brass/bronze), and surface treatment processes.

Education:

B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy Engineering. An MBA in Operations is a significant plus.

Location:

Must be based in or willing to relocate to  Noida .
