Production Supervisor

​This is a dual-role position ideal for a 'Shop Floor Guardian.' You will be responsible for the smooth execution of daily manufacturing plans, ensuring machines are set correctly, inventory is managed efficiently, and—most importantly—that every component leaving our line meets strict quality standards. We are looking for someone who doesn't just follow processes but actively suggests improvements to save time and reduce waste.

Key Responsibilities
​1. Production & Process Management
​Machine & Tool Setting:
Oversee and assist in the setup of machines (CNC/VMC/Lathe) and tooling to ensure precise manufacturing of automation components.
​Workflow Execution:
Manage daily production targets, ensuring basic manufacturing processes (turning, milling, drilling, assembly) are executed efficiently.
​Inventory Control:
Monitor raw material stock, consumables, and tooling inventory. Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained to prevent production stoppages.

​2. Strict Quality Control (QC) & Assurance
​In-Process & Final Inspection:
Implement rigorous inspection protocols at various stages of production using precision instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
​Rejection Analysis:
Root cause analysis of defects and implementation of corrective actions to minimize rejection rates.
​Documentation:
Maintain quality logs, inspection reports, and ISO documentation (if applicable).

​3. Process Improvement & Optimization
​Continuous Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks in the production line and suggest technical or procedural changes to increase throughput.
​Cost Reduction:
Propose methods to reduce material waste and cycle times without compromising quality.
​Team Leadership:
Train operators on proper machine handling and quality standards to build a culture of precision.

Required Qualifications
​

Education:

B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
​

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a mechanical manufacturing setup.

​Technical

Skills:

​Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances).
​Hands-on experience with Machine Setting and Tooling selection.
​Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

​
Experience with Inventory Management techniques (FIFO, Safety Stock).

Soft Skills:

​Problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail.
​Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
​Strong communication skills to coordinate between management and floor workers.
