Job Description & How to Apply Below
Fundvice is seeking a high-caliber chief of staff to work directly with the founders in building the next phase of scale.
This is not a support function. This role operates at the core of strategic decision-making — intersecting business strategy, fundraising, M&A execution, and organisational leadership.
The Chief of Staff will serve as a force multiplier to the Founders, driving high-impact initiatives, managing complex transactions, and translating vision into structured execution across the firm.
The ideal candidate brings deep exposure to Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, PE/VC, or Transaction Advisory, and has worked closely with founders or CXOs in high-intensity, growth-oriented environments.
Key Responsibilities
Founders’ Office & Strategic Leadership
- Act as a strategic thought partner on business planning, capital strategy, and growth priorities
- Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives across fundraising, M&A, partnerships, and expansion
- Support critical decision-making through financial modelling, scenario analysis, and market intelligence
- Help shape long-term roadmap while ensuring short-term execution discipline
Fundraising & M&A
- Lead and support end-to-end fundraising processes — including deck development, financial modelling, data room management, and investor coordination
- Drive M&A mandates covering target screening, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution
- Liaise with investors, bankers, legal advisors, and transaction stakeholders
- Ensure structured, timeline-driven deal management
Business Management & Execution
- Translate founder-level strategy into clear, executable plans across verticals
- Track OKRs, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives across teams
- Identify operational gaps, execution bottlenecks, and risk areas — and proactively resolve them
- Establish governance cadence and accountability mechanisms
Stakeholder & Leadership Alignment
- Act as an extension of the Founders in internal and external forums
- Prepare board-ready and investor-grade materials
- Drive alignment across leadership teams and vertical heads
- Maintain execution clarity across a multi-vertical, high-growth environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, PE/VC, or Transaction Advisory
- Proven exposure to fundraising and M&A deal cycles
- Prior experience working closely with Founders, CXOs, or senior leadership
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and strategic thinking capability
- High ownership mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity
- Exceptional communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
What This Role Is Not
- ❌ Not an Executive Assistant role
- ❌ Not a purely operational execution role
- ❌ Not a coordination function without strategic exposure
Why This Role Matters
This is a leadership position at the heart of Fundvice’s scale journey.
For someone who wants proximity to decision-making, exposure to live deals, and the opportunity to shape a fast-growing global consulting platform — this role offers unmatched learning, responsibility, and impact.
