Inviting Applications for the role of Management Trainee - Australia National Payroll
Responsibilities
1.Strategic Oversight:
.Reporting standard, Ad hoc
.Drive initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
.Clear concept of inflow and out and impact of superannuation
.Understands pre-payroll and reconciliation activities
.Payroll Preparation Audits.
.Payment Services Tasks-Garnishments.
.General Ledger - Post Payroll Report.
.Quarter End Tasks.
.Oversee payroll activities, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
.Address and resolve complex payroll issues or escalations.
2. Audit, Validation & Quality Checks
.Perform preliminary audits on compensation transactions for accuracy and completeness.
.Validate pay components, job codes, and basic compensation triggers before workflow submission.
.Maintain documentation required for compliance reviews and audit readiness.
3. Reporting & Data Management
.Generate payroll reports and insights for management including business and regulatory reporting
.Analyze trends and provide insights to improve payroll operations.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
.Collaborate with internal team members, AU HR partners, and recruiters to clarify data or resolve simple compensation queries.
.Coordinate with Comp, HR Workforce and HRSS teams for follow-ups, data issues, and validation checks.
.Participate in process improvement discussions and propose ideas to streamline data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
5. Compliance and Process Improvement:
.Ensure compliance with Australia statutory requirements and company policies.
.Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
.Post Payroll processing reports

Minimum Qualifications
.Graduate/Post-graduate in HR, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
.Good number of relevant years of experience (internships/projects acceptable) in HR operations, compensation, payroll, or data management.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
.Working knowledge of MS Excel - VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formatting, validations.
.Exposure to HRIS such as Workday/Success Factors (added advantage).
.Experience/internship in shared services or AU HR operations preferred.
.Interest in compensation, HR analytics, and data-driven HR processes.
