Position: New product development & supply Planning Manager
Job Description for Supply Planning &NPD Manager/Sr. Manager
Inventory Planning and Stock Management:

· Monitor stock levels across the European warehouse network and ensure optimum inventory availability to meet demand at optimum Cost.

· Maintain optimal stock levels by determining re-order points and managing safety stock levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.

· Develop and execute stock replenishment plans based on sales forecasts, historical data, and promotional activity.

· Ensure alignment between demand planning and supply execution to meet service level .
Order Fulfilment:

· Work closely with the Sales Team to receive order and provide realistic timeline for deliveries, ensuring on-time supply from Factory.

· Laisen with PPC Team and organic operation team for supply updates.

· Update to the management for any delay/deviations in plan.

· Collaborate with sales, marketing to adjust supply plans in line with sales forecasts, product launches, or promotional events.
NPD(New Product Development):

· Follow NPD Gate Process.

· Timely NPD Meeting to ensure products are launched as per tracker timeline

· Ensure NPD Process are being followed across company.

· Share report with Management on NPD Progress
Monitoring and Reporting:

· Track key supply chain KPIs, such as inventory turnover, stock levels, fill rates, and supplier lead times, inventory ageing, no. of stock days.

· Analyse demand forecasts and adjust supply plans to ensure stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.

· Generate regular reports on inventory performance, product availability, and potential supply issues for internal stakeholders.
Process Optimization:

· Identify and implement process improvements to optimize stock levels, reduce lead times, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.

· Work with the logistics and procurement teams to identify opportunities for cost savings in transportation and warehousing.
Demand and Supply Forecasting:

· Support demand forecasting efforts by analysing historical data, market trends, and sales projections.

· Develop accurate supply plans that align with business objectives and demand forecasts for both B2B and B2C customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field   or

B. Tech in any discipline

Experience:

10+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory management, or logistics, preferably within a European or global supply chain environment.
Experience working with B2B and B2C supply chains is a plus.
Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Business Central or other ERP/WMS systems).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and forecasting.

Experience with demand forecasting tools is an advantage.
Analytical

Skills:

Ability to analyse complex data sets to make informed decisions and optimize stock levels.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders .
Problem-Solving:  A proactive approach to solving supply chain issues and addressing potential bottlenecks in a timely manner.
Personal Attributes:
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
Collaborative and able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
