Role & Responsibilities
Handling Intellectual Property litigation , including trademark, copyright, patent, and design matters.
Drafting and reviewing pleadings such as plaints, written statements, rejoinders, applications, affidavits, and appeals .
Representing clients and assisting seniors in proceedings before District Courts, High Courts, and IP offices/tribunals .
Conducting legal research , case law analysis, and preparing briefs and notes for hearings.
Coordinating with clients and internal teams for case strategy and updates.
Managing filings, hearings, and compliance with procedural requirements.
Assisting in enforcement actions , injunction matters, and opposition/rectification proceedings.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in IP litigation .
LL.B. from a National Law University (NLU) or tier 1 law school will be preferred .
Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Hands-on experience with court appearances and litigation procedures.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Good communication and client-handling skills.
