The role is accountable for delivery governance, financial performance, customer satisfaction, engineering excellence, and proactive risk management across a complex portfolio of engagements.
Must have experience in software development projects, we are not looking for infrastructure project managers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Management & Governance
Lead multi‑track application development / modernization programs.
Establish strong delivery governance including KPIs/OKRs, RAID management, quality gates, compliance checks, and risk audits .
Ensure predictable delivery across scope, cost, schedule, and quality parameters.
2. Financial & Commercial Ownership (P&L)
Own P&L for fixed‑price and outcome‑based engagements with focus on margin improvement.
Oversee revenue recognition, billing milestones, cost baselines, and productivity metrics .
Manage Change Requests (CRs) and safeguard the financial health of programs.
3. Stakeholder & Customer Leadership
Ensure high customer satisfaction through transparent reporting and proactive risk communication.
Manage multi‑vendor ecosystems and cross‑functional delivery teams.
Build strong client relationships at operational and leadership levels.
4. Team Leadership
Lead distributed teams across engineering, QA, architecture, Dev Ops, product management, and PMO .
Coach and mentor Delivery Managers / Senior PMs to build a high‑performance delivery culture.
Promote engineering best practices including CI/CD, automation, cloud adoption, security, and observability .
5. Pre‑Sales & Solutioning Support
Support deal‑shaping, estimations, SoW/MSA reviews, and delivery commitments.
Participate in orals, customer presentations, and due‑diligence activities.
Validate solution architecture, delivery models, and execution plans for new engagements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
14+ years of experience in IT delivery; 7–10+ years leading large programs.
Proven success delivering fixed price and outcome‑based engagements.
Experience managing portfolios worth $10M , or large multi‑year transformation programs.
Strong understanding of Agile/SAFe, Dev Ops/CI-CD pipelines, cloud engineering, microservices/API ecosystems .
Excellent stakeholder management, including interactions at Director and CXO levels .
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science; PMP, SAFe, ITIL certifications preferred.
Nice-to-Have Technical Exposure
Hospitality platforms, property management systems, or travel retail technologies.
Tools exposure: Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Service Now, MS Project, Power BI .
