Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Product Manager to lead mobile software planning and innovation tailored for the smartphone market .
This role focuses on understanding user behavior at scale and translating local market insights into software features that enhance everyday smartphone experiences. You will work closely with global cross-functional teams to shape products that are relevant, scalable, and user-centric.
Key Responsibilities
User & Market Insight
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand Indian users’ smartphone usage patterns, including:
Content consumption and digital engagement
Payments, utilities, and daily-use applications
Localization and multi-language requirements
Identify user pain points in high-frequency scenarios such as:
Social networking
Entertainment and media
Data-efficient and cost-conscious usage
Translate insights into opportunities for software optimization and feature enhancement
Product Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Convert market and user insights into structured product requirements and proposals
Collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders across regions
Develop clear documentation such as:
Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)
User flows and journey maps
Support agile product development through regular alignment and reviews
Product Strategy & Execution
Own and manage the India-focused software feature roadmap
Validate product ideas through prototyping, testing, and user feedback
Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend continuous improvements
Competitive & Industry Analysis
Track trends and developments in the smartphone and mobile software ecosystem
Conduct competitive feature and experience benchmarking
Share insights to support strategic and roadmap decision
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Product Management within mobile software, applications, or platform ecosystems
Strong ability to analyze user behavior using data and research methodologies
Structured, hypothesis-driven thinking with strong presentation skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
Communication & Collaboration Skills
Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Ability to work effectively with global and multicultural teams
Strong stakeholder communication and alignment capabilities
