Lead Business Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced  P&C Lead Business Analyst  with strong knowledge of insurance domain processes, requirement gathering, and solution design. The candidate should have hands-on experience working with underwriting, policy administration, claims, and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities
Interact with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
Translate business needs into clear user stories, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment of requirements and solution feasibility.
Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and propose effective business solutions.
Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating functionality, and coordinating with users.
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across policy, billing, and claims.
Ensure compliance with P&C standards, regulatory needs, and best practices.
Provide domain expertise during design discussions and client interactions.
Assist in system configuration, workflow optimization, and process improvements.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of  Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C)  processes.
Hands-on experience with at least one P&C platform (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco).
Proficiency in writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, wireframes, and workflow diagrams.
Understanding of policy lifecycle, endorsements, renewals, claims, billing, and underwriting.
Experience working in  Agile/Scrum  environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Good to Have

Certifications:

AINS, CPCU, Guidewire BA , or other insurance-related certifications.

Experience with data analysis, SQL queries, or reporting tools.
Exposure to cloud-based insurance platforms.
