Job Title:
Delivery Head – Telecom Core Networks

India – Noida/Chennai/Bangalore
Role
Summary:
The Delivery Head is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of cloud based Core telecom solutions and services for global clients. This role ensures operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability while driving innovation and transformation in alignment with organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Leadership:
Oversee large-scale telecom programs and projects across multiple geographies – with circa team of circa 2,000+ headcount
Ensure timely, quality delivery of OEM products and services to their end customers which includes the world’s largest CSPs
Leverage position to grow Infinite sales pipeline in this sector.
Strategic Planning & Governance:
Continuously improve delivery strategy aligned with business objectives.
Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal leadership.
Manage escalations and ensure proactive communication.
Operational Excellence:
Drive transformation, resource optimization, cost control, and process improvements to drive optimal productivity & efficiency
Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with SLAs.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Develop talent pipelines and succession planning.
Financial Management:
Own P&L for delivery operations, ensuring profitability and growth.
Monitor budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Innovation & Transformation:
Champion digital transformation initiatives leveraging AI, automation, and analytics.
Drive continuous improvement and customer-centric delivery models.
Required Skills &
Competencies:
Strong expertise in telecom technologies (Cloud infrastructure , 4G/5G Core & network architecture).
Proven track record in program management and global delivery leadership .
Excellent stakeholder management , negotiation , and communication skills .
Deep understanding of risk management , quality assurance , and process optimization .
Ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage multi-million-dollar budgets .
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
20+ years of experience in telecom delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Certifications in PMP , ITIL , or Agile preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with global telecom OEMs and large-scale transformation programs.
Exposure to digital technologies (AI, automation, cloud) in telecom delivery.
