Job Description:
Seeking skilled Google Looker API Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern analytics solutions using Looker, LookML, Big Query and Vertex AI. Build scalable semantic models, automate insight using LLMs. Collaborate with Data Engineering, AI/ML and product team to create an AI-enhanced analytics ecosystem on Google cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop LookML models, explores, views, refinements and PDTs .
Build and optimize interactive dashboards, visualizations, and self-service analytics in Looker.
Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and closely working with data engineers to integrate data pipelines and warehouses with Looker
Develop AI Powered analytical agents using conversations in Looker.
Build automated insights generation system that summarize KPI behaviors and trends.
Use Looker API & SDK to provide programmatic interface for interacting with extending the Looker platform.
Integrate Looker with Git/Bitbucket for version control and CI/CD workflows.
Create automated workflows to migrate Lookml and dashboards across environments.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency across Looker reports and datasets.
Implement user , roles, and permissions
-based security in Looker using user attributes.
Stay updated on Looker best practices, new features, and BI/analytics trends .
Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing performance .
Leverage Custom Visualizations through Looker marketplace and JS Plugins/CDN links
