Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Dev-ops Architect to design and implement robust, scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform with a strong focus on Observability, Deployment strategies, and CI/CD automation. This role is hands-on and requires deep technical expertise combined with the ability to guide engineering teams toward best practices in reliability, security, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement GCP solutions:
Networking, IAM, security baselines, and compute services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine).

• Observability leadership:
Define SLIs/SLOs, implement dashboards, alerts, and tracing using Cloud Operations Suite and Open Telemetry.

• CI/CD pipeline design:
Build and optimize pipelines using Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Git Hub Actions/Git Lab CI; integrate automated testing and security scans.

• Deployment strategies:
Enable blue/green, canary, and progressive delivery with automated rollback mechanisms.

• Infrastructure as Code:
Standardize Terraform modules, Helm charts, and Git Ops workflows.

• Collaborate with SRE, security, and product teams to ensure reliability, compliance, and cost optimization.

• Participate in incident response and postmortems; drive continuous improvement using DORA metrics.

Required Qualifications

• 8–15 years in cloud/platform engineering; 5+ years hands-on with GCP.

• Strong experience with:

o GCE, Cloud Run, Anthos

o Cloud Monitoring/Logging/Trace, Open Telemetry

o CI/CD tools:
Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, Git Hub Actions/Git Lab CI, Jenkins, Groovy

o Terraform, Helm, Git Ops

o AppD client, Otel agent

• Solid understanding of deployment strategies, SRE principles, and security best practices (IAM, VPC, CMEK).

• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation.
