Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Service Now Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of solutions on the Service Now platform. As a key member, you will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance business processes, automate workflows, and ensure the platform aligns with organizational goals and ITIL best practices.

Key Deliverables
Design, develop, configure, and customize Service Now applications and modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM) to meet business requirements.
Develop and maintain custom scripts, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and client scripts to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
Integrate Service Now with external systems using APIs, web services, and Integration Hub to streamline data flow and process automation.
Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Perform unit testing and system testing, and coordinate UAT with stakeholders to ensure quality and functionality of developed solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, changes, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and platform maintenance.
Support platform upgrades, patching, and instance maintenance activities to ensure system stability and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner, minimizing disruption to business operations.
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and security standards within the Service Now platform, protecting sensitive data and maintaining system integrity.
Stay current with new Service Now features and best practices, providing recommendations for platform optimization and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
1+ years of hands-on experience with Service Now development, demonstrating proficiency in platform configuration and customization.
Familiarity with Service Now modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalogue, and CMDB, understanding their functionalities and integration points.
Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, and CSS, enabling the creation of custom scripts, UI policies, and client scripts.
Basic understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, underpinning the proper handling of incident, problem, and change management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated by an ability to quickly identify, communicate and remediate root causes of issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills that allow effective interaction with stakeholders and efficient teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification shows commitment to quality of delivery standards.
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certification(s) enhance credibility.
Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, or Scoped Applications indicates an ability to handle automation tasks.
Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Dev Ops) means familiarity with SOPs and workflows.

Must-Have Skills
Technical: Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS; familiar with REST/SOAP integrations and their applications within Service Now
Domain Knowledge: Working knowledge of ITIL processes and their practical application to Service Now modules.
Behavioral & Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Process & SOP: Experience in documenting configurations, changes, and processes to maintain system knowledge.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and in a timely manner
Good-to-Have Skills
Advanced Technical:
Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scoped Applications for advanced automation and integration tasks.
Additional
Certifications:
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Implementation Specialist certifications.
Cross-Functional Exposure: Experience working with cross-functional teams, understanding the needs of different departments.

Additional Information Standard probation period applies as per company policy.
Hybrid work model based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with both remote and office work.
